Bachelor modules

• Messtechnik und Analoge Schaltungen (Measurement Technology and Analog Circuits), winter semester, 6 CP. Electrical measurement technology, operational amplifiers, filters, noise, measurement uncertainty and calibration. In the lab course the students build a working ECG amplifier on a breadboard, step by step.
• Einführung in die Medizintechnik (Introduction to Medical Engineering), summer semester, 6 CP. Medical sensors, biosignals, imaging, patient monitoring and safety requirements for medical devices, with Pluto notebooks on biomedical signal processing.

Master modules

• Bildgebende Messverfahren in Medizin und Technik (Imaging Measurement Methods in Medicine and Technology), winter semester, 6 CP, together with Prof. Nils Damaschke. Topics cover X-ray, system theory of imaging systems, signal processing, CT, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, MRI and magnetic particle imaging, optical imaging and image processing. In the exercises, measurement signals of the different modalities are simulated, processed and reconstructed in Julia.
